IN CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Lethe
Canon: Fire Emblem Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn
OU/AU/OC: OU
Canon Point: Epilogue
History: http://fireemblem.wikia.com/wiki/Lethe

Personality:
Lethe is a very proud, very stubborn, very caring and very harsh individual, more often than not taking a bit of time to really warm up to anybody. She can be quick to point out people's flaws, and judge them harshly as a result of these said flaws. She started off with a deep seated hatred and resentment to all humans, having ancestral memories of the enslavement of her people at the hands of mankind, yet when Lethe traveled with Ike and his army, she eventually came to trust and respect many humans, learning that she couldn't judge an entire species by the actions of a few.

Lethe is first and foremost, a soldier of her country of Gallia, and to her, all other things in life must come second. She is a patriot through and through, and her loyalty to her king and country knows very little bounds. She often thinks about and concernes herself with how her actions or the actions of others could help or hurt her country. Her entire motivation for siding with Ike and his mercenaries in the first place was at the behest of her King. The entire reason she even started to notice Ike in their support conversation, was because she was curious about the way he fights. She was thinking of implimenting some of his own fighting techniques in tandum with her own, and teaching her soldiers back home.

The only thing that may matter more or at least as much to Lethe than her country, is her sister who is her only known family, and the friends she has made during the wars. However, it is shown that Lethe will have little qualms about fighting against some of those same friends if they choose to side against Galia. Lethe often is very serious and standoffish when compared to the sometimes eccentric personalities of the other members of Ike's group. While Lethe isn't known for having the best sense of humor, she has been known to laugh, joke, and pull the occasional prank on rare occasions. Likely her younger sister Lyre has influenced this side of Lethe, and while the two of them don't always see eye to eye, Lethe and Lyre were very close in their youth. Lyre has always been a bit more girly, while Lethe has always been a bit more of a tomboy, which is part of why they fight so often now that they're older. As Lyre's older sister, Lethe tries to look out for her and be a mature example for Lyre who Lethe feels still has a lot of growing up to do.

In Laguz society it is not gender, race, or creed that determines the worth of an indivdual, but strength. Whether it be strength of body, mind, or spirit, strength and pride are very important to the Laguz, and Lethe often respects those who can put their money where their mouth is. Lethe has always been of the opinion that actions speak louder than words, and she almost always prefers face to face confrontations over subtlety or trickery.

Strengths:
Lethe has fought through two major wars, battled hundreds of foes, and lead armies of men and beast. While she may not always be the most charismatic leader thanks to her harsh personality, she has some knowledge of tactics, leading troops into battle, and knowledge on many different forms of combat. At the end of Radiant Dawn her claws and fangs were blessed by the goddess yune, making her capable of harming divine entities such as Ashera, and incorporeal beings like spirits.

While lions and tiger laguz are exceptionally strong and hardy, cat laguz like Lethe are very fast, accurate, and skilled at striking weak points. Lethe is usually capable of reaching one of the highest speed caps in the game, allowing her to attack multiple times in the time it would take her foes to strike once. While she may not be the strongest character in the game, her strength is also enough that she could tear open a palace's reinforced steel gate in one or two strikes. I will be implementing power caps to her as seen below in weaknesses.

Beast Laguz have very keen senses, able to smell, see, hear, taste, and even feel, much stronger than most humans normally can. Lethe's sense of smell is one of her strongest senses, and oftentimes she'd been known to complain about the stench of human armor clouding her senses. Cat Laguz like Lethe are also able to see in almost utter darkness, making them excellent at night ambushes.

Weaknesses:
In the history of Tellius, the Laguz like Lethe have often been the species of strength, honor, and pride, while humans have been a species of wisdom, cunning, and innovation. As this might suggest, Laguz tend to be very bull headed and often have a harder time using their thinking caps than humans. Lethe like most Laguz is easy to provoke, and her pride often gets in the way of her better judgement. While Lethe is very quick and agile, her strength and defense aren't nearly as strong as a result.

Laguz when in their more humanoid form are only half as powerful as they are in their combat forms. Oftentimes fighters can take advantage of this fact by hitting them while they aren't transformed. Since Lethe will only be in her feline form at my little jamjar, I was opting to have her with the halfshift skill introduced in Radiant Dawn. With this skill, a Laguz may stay in their combat forms 24/7, but they're a third less powerful than they would be otherwise, on top of the fact that all power levels are halved, Lethe likely won't be too much more powerful than your average wild mountain lion. So with Lethe being capable of taking down a palace gate in 1 to 2 strikes before, it would now take her about 3 to 6, if she could even manage it.

Beast Laguz like Lethe are highly susceptible to flames because of their fur, as such Lethe tries to avoid fire mages, or fire based foes the majority of the time she can.

Added Note: If at all possible, I'd still like her to be able to train to get stronger, and you may apply any form of restrictions to this as you like.

Possessions: A small dagger on her leg she uses for practical use, not for combat. Her clothing that might be on her shifted form such as her arm guard, and her collar with bells on the end, and maybe a few healing herbs.

Pony/Animal Type: Lethe makes the most sense as a Puma or other form of large cat because cannonically, she's a catgirl. Not just a catgirl, but one who often takes such a form, making it simply easier, and a more logical choice.

[Threadhopping] It's totally cool with me, just check with the other person involved too!

[Hugging this Character] Not in her humanoid form, unless you want her to kick, scratch, bite, hiss, or yell at you. In her feline form, she's more powerful, and thus more conscientious of her own strength, and she less likely to think people are going to try to do 'weird things' to her.

[Kissing this Character] Yes, but expect a similar reaction to her being hugged, except likely more severe.

[Inappropriate touching] If you are okay with having your character kicked through a brick wall, then by all means. IF she knows your character well enough, she might let it go, or perhaps be really offended... or have a reaction similar to if you hugged her.

[Lovers] I would be open to this, but Lethe is very unlikely to be interested or pleasant. So to sum that up, please feel free to try. I love romance stuff, even if Lethe can be difficult to win over.

[Punching this Character] You might be able to get in a lucky punch, but you're going to have to be willing to take a few punches too, and expect her to block the incoming punch because Lethe is quite a warrior.

[Easiest Way to get on her good side] Treat her with respect, treat those around you with respect, show that you are competent, or kind, or simply be a Laguz.

[Easiest way to get on her bad side] Disrespect her, disrespect Laguz, touching her without permission, cat calls, any form of racism or degradation, calling her a sub-human,

[Hacking her journal] You can most likely just go right ahead. You might need to ask if there's another person involved though.

[Can she hack Mine?] Nope.

[Fourth Wall Breakage] That is totally okay!

[Shapeshift/Bodyswap/etc.] Ask me first.

[Maim/Murder/Death] Ask me first.
